Established in 2006, Iron Rugby is a an organization that is determined to rise above the norm. The team began simply as a group of ruggers who essentially had no subs and had to tough out the 3 tournaments that first year relying on shear determination to grind it out on the pitch knowing no man could get injured, and if he did, he'd best get back up and into the match. Playing a few times each year since, the team branched out in 2009 as Iron Rugby Mercenaries, providing support to the Mobile Old Boys in their annual November Battleship Tournament.
In 2011, Iron Rugby is solely focused on continuing to grow the brotherhood, more travel, more matches, more stories. International is the next step. Stay posted...
