A reminder to get your CIPP done with USA Rugby.  The site will allow you to register for up to 3 clubs for the same price of $45.  If you still need to register, please do so under Iron and then any other club(s) you elect to play for...  we need this done ASAP.  Also: You can sign up on line for our field at http://www.legion.org/join.  The Post is Cummings-Behlke Post 226 in Mayo, MD.  Once you sign up and print out your temporary card/receipt, scan and email your DD214 to Adjutant@Post226.org.  The Post's meetings are the 4th Tuesday of the month.  For those of you with ancestors who served please see http://www.legion.org/sons for information about the Sons of the American Legion.  The S.A.L. meeting at Post 226 is this Thursday, 16 Feb, at 7.

Happy New Year and Welcome to Hell! 2012 is the reforging of Iron Rugby - sharper, stronger and more honed. The club has established itself and now proudly is setting up camp and setting out pitch flags at the American Legion Post #226 in Edgewater, MD. We will be proud patrons and patriots of this establishment and will defend it's field as these vets have defended our country. Iron is only getting stronger and committing SIN in 2012. More matches, more tours, and another decade of defiance in the face of all odds... Iron 2012.

We have matches on the following dates:

25-MAR - Old Boys matches in coordination with the Washington Poltroons.
15-APR - Iron hosts the Wild Geese vs. Washington Poltroons
20-MAY - Iron vs. Wild Geese

Fundraiser at The Greene Turtle in Edgewater, MD went very well - a BIG THANK YOU to all that supported - without our supporters we do not exist.

Iron Rugby had a great Round Robin against the Wild Geese and Baltimore Chesapeake (match reports forthcoming).
